St Chads, Rubery originated as a mission church of Holy Trinity, Lickey in 1895. It was dedicated after a small ruined chapel which had existed at Chadwick Manor. It was a wooden church after the style of a Scandinavian Church. In 1933 a parish was assigned out of Holy Trinity. The church was rebuilt in 1858. [Source Birmingham Archives]
