Along with our members subscriptions, donations are the life blood of our society. Without either we could not exist, sadly the society cannot run on fresh air. We are grateful for any and all donations no matter how small. If you would like to show your appreciation for a small service that the society has provided, for example a Zoom meeting or some assistance in our Family History Centre or one of our Family History courses we would be most thankful.
Making any donation is much appreciated by the trustees, they are the ones who do the worrying.
If you are a tax payer and therefore able to declare Gift Aid on your donation, the society will benefit by another 25p per £1 at no cost to you. That means for example, £10 from you becomes £12.50 to us. The extra bit is courtesy of HMRC. All that is required by you is to tick a box to make the declaration that your donation is eligible.
