The Wolverhampton group covers Wolverhampton and the wider area including Bilston, Penn, Tettenhall, Bushbury, and Wednesfield. Regular group members also come from areas outside of this including Rugeley, Coven, Perton and Wombourne (Staffordshire), Sedgley and Tipton, (West Midlands) Bridgnorth, Claverley and Telford (Shropshire).
We meet on the last Thursday of most months in the meeting room of the All Saints Church Hall. Free parking is available either side of the library. The room is open from 7.15 and meetings begin at 7.30 p.m. Our speakers and details of their talks are available on the events page of this website, see Menu dropdown at top of this page. There is opportunity to chat with others and share discoveries at all meetings and at Members or Research Evenings.
Help, support and guidance is available from other group members and we have links with other history groups and archives in the district which can be useful to our members. We also run classes for beginners in the Wolverhampton area.
