Kenilworth: ‘A Brummie in the Family’
Wed 13th October 2021 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm BST
A talk by Vanessa Morgan
NOTE: Our scheduled speaker, Helen Ball, who was going to talk to us about Heir-hunting, would prefer to give her talk in-person, so according to the new talk schedule, this will be postponed until the Spring/Summer 2022 (date TBC).
Instead, Vanessa Morgan has agreed to do a talk for us, based on her new book, ‘A Brummie in the Family’, depicting bits of local or social history and, in particular, the quoted paragraphs included in the book which have been taken from books written in the 1800’s describing Birmingham and its people as it and they were at that particular time.
