We all encounter illegitimate births at different times in our research and the general view is that it is impossible, or at the least very difficult, to identify the father.  There are records that you can use to attempt to uncover the truth about the parentage – have you explored them all?

Penny, our group leader, will be demonstrating some of the records that may help you identify who’s the daddy.
