HS2 Archaeology works: Park Street Former Burial Ground

Did you know that one of the biggest archaeological digs in the UK has been taking place right here in Birmingham? As part of the preparations for HS2’s phase one, an archaeological team has been excavating the Park Street burial ground, close to the city centre. They’ve been discovering new information about life and death in Birmingham during the 19th century.
