Who’s The Daddy ?

Or some ideas for identifying the father of an illegitimate child.

Presenter – Penny Smith.

Most of us have come across an illegitimate child in our research and then wondered about who is the father.   Routinely we are told that it is impossible to identify the father but occasionally you can.  Usually there is only one person who will be certain but there may be an indication lurking in the records.  Have you looked for them all?   This presentation will demonstrate some clues which may take you further in answering the age-old question of “who’s the daddy?”

Penny is Chair of our Wolverhampton Group and Vice-Chair Genealogy of Midland Ancestors.

An Online event using Zoom. Visit this page to find out how we do it.
