Speaker: Richard Holt BA (Hons)

This talk discusses the Freedom of Information Act and using FOI requests for family history research. Richard will go through how to make a request to a public authority, what to expect, what types of record might be held, and what to do if you think the public authority has got it wrong. This talk discusses a number of examples of records obtained under the FOIA.
