Wolverhampton Local History Fair

After a gap of two years, Saturday 19th November, 10.00 a.m. – 4.00 p.m., the Wolverhampton Local History Fair is to be held at Wolverhampton Archives, The Molineux Hotel Building, Whitmore Hill, Wolverhampton WV1 1SF.   It’s a great opportunity to meet and speak with various history groups and organisations about the city’s history and to look around an icon city building.  There will be many stalls from across the area with representatives to talk about their work and research.

The Wolverhampton group of Midland Ancestors will be there with an interesting family history display.  Come along and say ‘hello’.

Friends of Wolverhampton Archives will transform the meeting room on the second floor into the “Wrekin View Cafe” where light refreshments including a delicious array of home made cakes and freshly prepared sandwich baps, together with tea and coffee, will be available.  From the windows look over the home of the Wolves football team and across to the Wrekin.

There is a small entrance fee of £2 for adults and £1 for children but car parking for visitors is free of charge.
