This illustrated talk gives details of Buffalo Bill’s life from boy messenger on Waggon Trains, The Pony Express, his time working for the railroads, his military service and how he became involved with the theatre and formed Wild West Shows. Famous acts including Annie Oakley, Wild Bill Hickok, Sitting Bull and more………..
The talk also includes Bill Cody’s travels, including multiple visits to Birmingham and a visit to Wollaston, visits to Europe, his business investments and decline into working for other Circus owners before his death.
Do please note that this meeting is not on the usual Tuesday evening but a Saturday afternoon. The AGM will take no more than about 5 minutes
