“The Friend’s Ambulance Service in World War One”

A talk by Paul Handford, plus a visit to St John’s Museum and garden in the afternoon (free) for those interested.  We can arrange a free introductory speaker if there are sufficient numbers.

Paul Handford MBE will be talking on the experiences of those individuals, who for conscience and other reasons, chose to serve in the non-combatant Friends’ Ambulance Unit during World War I. The talk is supported by many original photographs from his private collection.

Meetings will be held at Wesley’s Chapel and Leysian Mission, 49 City Road, London, EC1Y 1AU.

Non-members are very welcome.
