Speaker – Vanessa Morgan

The story of Lavinia Ryves who tried to prove in the 1860’s, through documents in her possession, that she was the granddaughter of theDuke of Cumberland, brother of George lll, and therefore entitled to a title and an inheritance.

Vanessa worked as a professional genealogist and local historian, and has written six books and many articles, as well as giving talks for many groups. She is a story-teller.
