RADFORD SEMELE

The village, less than two miles south east of Leamington, is strung out along the main road from Warwick and Leamington to Southam, Daventry and Northampton. It is now virtually part of Leamington Spa. It is named after a Norman family from Semilly, lords of the manor until the reign of Henry 1. The rebuilding of the church in 1889 has left little of the original fourteenth century structure.
