NEWTON REGIS

The village lies about six miles north east of Tamworth and claims to be the most northerly village in the county, as does Seckington, but the parish certainly is. It is sometimes called Newton in the Thistles, or Kings Newton. The church dates from the time of Henry II. Whatley and No Man's Heath are hamlets.
