LEAMINGTON HASTINGS

This parish, which lies ten miles east of Warwick should not be confused with the latter's neighbour Leamington Priors, the modern Leamington Spa. The only thing they share in common is that the river Leam runs through each. The Hastings family were lords of the manor. There is a row of almshouses built in 1627. Hamlets are Hill, Kites Hardwick and Broadwell.
