ILMINGTON

The village, which covers quite a large area, lies about four miles north of Shipston-on-Stour. It has been well preserved, and many of the buildings are of Cotswold stone. Both Rectory and Manor House are sixteenth century, and 'Foxcote' is an attractive Georgian home. Compton Scorpion is a hamlet.
