HUNNINGHAM

The spelling 'Honingham' is also found. The village lies five miles north west of Southam and derives its name from Norman times and means 'ham of Hunna's people'. The church is thirteenth century but was much 'restored' in 1868. There is a fine mediaeval bridge over the river.
