HASELEY

The village lies three and a half miles north west of Warwick and is mentioned in Domesday. The parish church of St.Mary has a splendid monument to Clement Throckmorton together with his wife in the form of a brass, and thirteen smaller brasses to his six sons and seven daughters. He died in 1573. Clement was related to the Coughton Throckmortons.
