FARNBOROUGH

This parish on the border with Oxfordshire is about six miles north of Banbury, and is dominated by Farnborough Hall, the seat of the Holbech family. The church has a number of memorials to members of this family including one Holbech who was a Bishop of St.Helena. The Hall and extensive parkland with three lakes is now the property of The National Trust and is open to visitors.
