EXHALL (near ALCESTER)

There are two parishes of this name in Warwickshire. This one lies only about one and a half miles south east of Alcester, and is secluded as it is on no through route. Many of the cottages are old, and in the almost rebuilt church there is an attractive brass of John Walsingham and his wife, dated 1566. The registers are combined with Wixford after 1687. Arden's Grafton is partly in Exhall and partly in Temple Grafton.
