CLIFFORD CHAMBERS

This parish was transferred to Warwickshire in 1931. It lies three miles south west of Stratford-upon-Avon. The manor originally belonged to the Abbey of St.Peter's, Gloucester. There is an attractive group of half-timbered houses around the parish church of St.Helens with its Norman tower. The Manor House dates from the 1700s.
