BICKENHILL

This parish adjoins the road from Birmingham to Coventry and is about four miles north east of Solihull. Today it is overshadowed by the National Exhibition Centre and Birmingham Airport. It is sometimes known as Church Bickenhill, and the first church was built here in 1140. Lyndon, Marston Green and Marston Couly are hamlets.
