ALDERMINSTER

The village lies five miles south of Stratford-upon-Avon. The parish was originally in Worcestershire but was transferred to Warwickshire in 1935. The spelling Aldermarston is sometimes found. The massive church tower is seven hundred years old. The village has been cut in two by the busy Stratford to Oxford road.
