SUMMARY:Stourbridge & Black Country Group - The Careless Carless Case
DESCRIPTION:The Careless Carless Case\nFrom Victorian Scandal to a Theatre Play\n  \nIn 1886\, Britian was rocked by a domestic scandal when 17-year-old Agnes Bertha Carless was ‘willingly abducted’ by household lodger Arthur Fegan from her home in Wolverhampton. The story filled local and national newspapers and added salacious details to an already outrageous case. In 2026\, the story was brought to life on the stage as a play\, ‘The Careless Carless Case’. \nJoin Dominika\, author of the play and our local family historian\, as she unravels the complexities of the scandal and the fascinating relationships between a cast of remarkable characters\, as well as explaining how she brought this story to life. \n  \nSpeaker: Dominika Nala\n  \n
