DESCRIPTION:Open to Members and Non Members of Midland Ancestors.  \n  \nWe have access to the following sites \n\n\nAncestry – excellent for building a family tree\n\n\nFindMyPast – super search engine for UK records\n\n\nFold3 – military records\, especially American and British\n\n\nBritishnewspapersarchive.co.uk – now have over 109 million pages of British newspapers.\n\n\nNewspapers.com – mostly US records but also UK newspapers.\n\n\n\n\n\nSo if you need any help in finding records including military record and newspaper articles please pop along. If you do not have access to Ancestry or FindMyPast we can build a tree in Ancestry under our subscription and make it available to you – you would need to create a free account in Ancestry. You would not be able to change the tree\, but viewing is fine. \n  \nWe have researched the local glass and industry\, based off the 1921 Census. We have also researched many local men who fought in both world wars. Did your relatives work in the glass industry  or serve during both world wars? Come and find out. \n  \nThere is NO entry fee but we would like a small donation to Midland Ancestors if we help you find records or start your family teee. \n
